SwapXRP Privacy Policy
SwapXRP processes information needed to prepare and complete crypto exchanges, provide support, protect the service and assess transaction risks. A standard exchange does not require a permanent trading profile, but the exchange itself creates transaction and technical records.
This policy describes those records and the contact options for questions about their use.

Information Used for Exchanges
An exchange can involve the selected assets and networks, quoted and received amounts, wallet addresses, destination tags, rate mode, exchange reference and blockchain transaction identifiers. We use these details to calculate, identify, assess and deliver the requested conversion.
A private status link provides access to the corresponding exchange record. Treat the link as confidential and share it only with the service or a party you intend to authorise.
Wallet addresses and transaction history can be public on the relevant blockchain. Their public availability does not make every associated support message, document or exchange record public.
Support Messages and Technical Information
When you contact us, we process your reply email, message, exchange reference and the evidence you choose to provide. Attachments may include transaction records or screenshots; remove unrelated personal information before sending them.
Technical information may include IP addresses, request and error records, browser or device information, timestamps and security-related signals. These records support service operation, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
Essential cookies or similar storage may be used for functionality and security. Any optional non-essential tools require a notice and the consent or controls applicable to that use; this policy does not describe an advertising profile or a named analytics service.
When a transaction requires additional review, we may process identity, account-control or source-of-funds evidence relevant to that review. Do not send wallet signing secrets or unrelated documents.
Why We Process Information
Information is used for the task that requires it rather than because the service has a general need to collect a complete personal profile. The main purposes are:
- Preparing quotes and showing exchange conditions.
- Matching incoming payments and arranging receiving transfers.
- Providing status information and investigating delivery questions.
- Preventing abuse, detecting security issues and maintaining the service.
- Assessing transaction risks and handling applicable compliance obligations.
- Responding to support, privacy and other valid requests.
A different purpose or materially different collection method should be explained through an updated notice or the relevant request process. The absence of an account does not mean that no technical or transaction information is processed.
Service Providers and Public Networks
Service delivery may involve hosting, communications, security, exchange execution and transaction-assessment providers. Information is shared as needed for the relevant service, subject to the arrangements and restrictions applying to that processing.
A blockchain receiving the transaction records the information required by its protocol. SwapXRP cannot privately erase an address, payment or tag from a public ledger merely because it also holds an internal exchange record.
Information can also be disclosed when required by a valid legal process or competent authority, or when needed to address fraud, security or an applicable restriction. The categories and reasons described here do not imply unrestricted publication of support documents.
Retention and Protection
We retain information for as long as needed to complete exchanges, resolve support matters, investigate security issues and meet the obligations applying to the records. Retention can differ between an exchange record, a routine technical log and evidence related to an unresolved review.
We use HTTPS for service communications and restrict access to operational information according to its purpose. These measures reduce exposure but do not make every device, email account, blockchain or third-party service immune to compromise.
Avoid posting a private status link in public or sending unnecessary copies of identity documents. If you suspect an exposed link or another security issue, report it to [email protected].
Your Privacy Requests
Send questions or requests to [email protected]. Describe the information or exchange involved without sending a private key, recovery phrase or password.
Depending on the rights and requirements that apply, a request may concern access, correction, deletion, restriction or an explanation of the information processed. We may need enough evidence to verify the requester's connection to the information before responding.
A request does not automatically remove public blockchain records or information that must be retained for an unresolved issue or applicable obligation. Where a requested action cannot be completed, we explain the relevant limitation.
Policy Updates
This policy can change when the service's processing practices or applicable requirements change. A material new use of information should be accompanied by the notice or choices required for that use.
Use our contact options for an ordinary exchange enquiry. The transaction review policy provides additional context for compliance-related evidence.
